![]() ![]() Sorry if is asking too much, but what should i do after? This is the logfile. ![]() It might see the dll connection and it will let you delete it from there too. Have you tried Hijack This? It scans the system for lots of things. You may need to prune it from the registry. Guess the only way is keeping that microsoft registry server turned off in start up window task. But on the registry of the appdata/local there is registries from those i use, and this "ghost" uprmedia thing. The file location it gives me on the pop up, is in the appdata/local/uprmedia but when i go there, there's nothing from uprmedia, only things from programs i know well and use frequently. ![]() so this thing only exists in the registry. I have no idea what or even how i got such uprmedia app on my laptop and there's nothing at all in disk, folders, etc, etc related to this uprmedia that makes the registry warn me of the missing. is Microsoft Registry (c) Server, which i think it's funny because it kind of ridirects the problem of a non-windows app, the uprmedia thing. The program on the start up that make the pop up on start up. To be honest i've been doing what you indicated - had the start up program that makes the pop up window - for a year or so, is just that i wanted to solve this error for good. I restarted and there was still the pop up issue. I've run ccleaner today, erased almost everything it indicated less firefox stuff since i use it only a few weeks ago and had cache/etc cleaned already. Before you go there I'd run CCleaner through its paces including the registry cleanup. There are "Uninstaller Programs" that you can run as well. Is there program items and other files? Look for an Uninstaller to run. ![]() If it does, search for the file itself, then Open File Location and see what is there. Turn off any entries that are not Anti Virus, hardware drivers, or backup related. I prefer to use CCleaner but you can do it, in Win 8.1/10, from the task manager. You need to go through your startup items. More: i have searched the disk for anything called uprmedia, aqworks, thememainenum and nothing, so whatever it was this thing is not in disk anymore? wtf? I really don't want to delete anything from registry and ending messing up later. Should i just hit delete this dll from the registry, or leave it alone - it really just bothers me the message poping up everytime i restart the windows, not else. WHAT should i do about this? The further i can go, is thinking this unknown thing could be from a silly program i installed once and had trouble unistall completly - honestly it look malaware suspicious back then, therefore i unistalled it right way, even not being able to remove it completly back then. but the key of this one is about some program named there as AQworks and then has the thing in front of it. I have no idea what this uprmedia thing is, but when i search it on the registry keys it shows up next to other app dll's like normal programs i remember have installed. Every time i restart my windows, there is a pop up from regsvr32 tell me there is a issue with a certain. ![]()
